Hi. I'm Jenny. Six months ago, I knew I needed to make a change. I wasn't looking for a quick fix to get into a dress for a reunion or party. I knew that I needed to eat healthier and I needed to understand what "healthy" meant. I also knew that 80 percent of my diet was then made up of carbs. So the logical thing was for me to look into the low carb idea. Well, six months later, I have lost 60 pounds and like Lisa, I have more energy and am in better general health than I have been in a long time.

I have 30 more pounds to go to reach my own personal "goal". Six months ago the thought of losing ninety pounds seemed overwhelming...but after learning to eat healthy and delicious food instead of all the processed and refined sugars... I can honestly say that the 30 pounds are totally within my reach. Low Carb has really worked for me. -Jenny. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

That's really great news! That really is the key, to settle down and make a lifestyle change. No "diet" (in terms of short term change) is ever going to work. If you are heavy it is because your standard way of eating is wrong for you. You need to rethink how you are living your life and include healthy food and exercise in it. It's your own life (and I suppose the lives of those who love you) that is destroyed when you destroy your own body with bad food. It's not like you can get a new body when you're finished harming the one you have <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It is pretty amazing just how much processed foods and sugars we developed country people have gotten used to as "normal"!
