can someone help me with finding this pattern? i remember seeing a poncho with crocheted fringe...not just fringe that was cut but it looked like maybe it was a chain crocheted...not sure now and i have searched all over for the picture but naturally it's lost somewhere in cyberspace...has anyone seen the picture or know how to go about this..i did try it myself but it doesn't look right so would love to see the picture...

i've done that type of fringe before. here's how i do it.
i chain a bunch depending on how long you want the fringe, then slip stitch back into the same place i started the chain. it makes a loop that will twirl around itself. then slip stitch over to where you want to put the next one.
voila!
