has anybody here seen these? they're nice, looks a lot like Chelle's. here's the pattern: about.com

i'm having a bit of a problem with the first row.
here's what it says:
CH 95
ROW 1. SC IN 7TH CH FROM HOOK *CH 3, SC, CH 3, SC IN NEXT ST REPEAT FROM * TO END (23 CH LOOPS MADE)

now, i know if i put ch3 sc ch3 sc in each stitch across, there'll lot's more than just 23 loops made. obviously there should be some chains skipped. has anybody made this before? if so, how many did you skip. when i divide 95 by 23 i come up with 4. but 4 x 23 is 92, which leaves a few chains. can any body help?

I wanted to thank you for posting this. I haven't made the cocoon sweater yet but your post made me realize that I had saved a copy of the incorrect version. Another person on the about.com forum asked the same question later. Here is the message that shows the corrected version of the pattern. In case my link won't work, it's message 2057.1 on that forum.

Hope this helps...Debi

Ken Jones (aka The Crochet Guy) doesn't do patterns for sale or for free. All we get from him are pictures, pictures, pictures.

!!ARGH!!

Is it just me, or is this pattern HARD TO FOLLOW?? ok...
somebody help me out here, got another that's not making sense. here's what it says:

ROW 4-34. REPEAT ROWS 2 & 3 UNTIL YOU HAVE 17 ROWS OF DC, AT END OF ROW 34 BRING UP EDGE OF WORK (RIGHT SIDE OUT) CONTINUE WITH 4 DCS IN FIRST LOOP OF ORIGINAL CHAIN LOOP, 3 DCS IN NEXT 21 LOOPS, 4 DCS IN LAST LOOP. JOIN WITH A SLIP ST IN FIRST DC ROW. YOU WILL NOW WORK IN ROUNDS.

i'm good up to the point it says "at end of row 34 bring up edge of work...continue with 4 DCS in first loop of origial chain..." now, do I end off at the end of row 34? because if i just bring up the original loop of the first chain, the work is twisted. my brain tells me to turn the work and work my way down the side till i reach the original first loop, but that's not what the pattern says. HELP!!!
i hate to sound critical, but this pattern is not well written. oh, btw, i'm taking this from the "corrected" (?) version from bigmama's link.
