i'm at the part of the game where cj has to date millie in order to get the keycard. problem is, whenever i go to her house, she's not there. i've checked during all the "listed" times found on various tutorials, but she's never there. is there something wrong with my game?

Are you sure you got the times right? Bc I think the times listed in the bradyguide and most other guides is wrong. The time I have for Millie is 12:00 to 22:00 in Prickle Pine.

If you have the correct times, then you have the girlfriend glitch. This is a really common problem/glitch. For some unknown reason (hence, it's a glitch), sometimes girlfriends just stop appearing at home when they're suppossed to be at home. In fact, they never show up.

There are lots of different methods to try and get rid of the glitch, but there's no sure way to get rid of it. In fact, I've had the girlfriend glitch for about 40 in-game hours, and no matter what I do, it never goes away.

There aren't any faqs that can help you with this, but I'll just quote part of the girlfriend faq on gamefaqs, by bloodstorm:

"Q.) I went to a girl's home during the time she was supposed to be there, but she never showed up. What's wrong?

A.) After going out on a date with a girl, she usually isn't available for another date until about a day later (often she'll become available at midnight, if that's one of her available times).

However, it often happens that a girl will stop being available no matter how long you wait. One theory about why this happens is because you no longer meet the requirements to date the girl. To get the girl available for a date again, you need to get your appearance up to her standards. Also, she may not become available for a day or two after you get back up to her standards, so be patient.

It may be that the above doesn't seem to work, or that it's Denise or Millie that are not available for dating during their normal times. I'm not sure exactly what causes this, so that means I'm also not sure how exactly to fix
it. What seems to work best is trying to change your appearance, such as changing clothes, getting a new haircut, and maybe getting some new tattoos. Then you have to wait for a few ingame days before the girl will be available for dating again. If that still doesn't work, try doing a few missions if you have any left. They always seem to become available again at some point, it's
just hard to tell what exactly brings them back."

When or if Millie becomes available for dating again, remember that you don't have to date her to get the keycard. You can just kill her, and you can still get the keycard. Of course, you can't date her after that.

millie and the san fierro pay 'n spray girl (can't remember her name) never show up anymore. i've checked millie's house every game-hour on the hour and she's never there. grr.

how do you kill her? i'm desperate for that keycard.

Some ppl think (nobody's sure) that "stalking" your gf by driving by her house all the time like you're doing is what causes them to become unavailable. Some ppl also suggest leaving town for a few days (and obviously not visit her house). Upon returning to that city, she will sometimes call you and then she will become available again.

I couldn't date Katie so I lived in LV for awhile. Then I took a flight back to SF. When the screen loaded after the plane landed, I didn't move CJ for a few seconds. I think this gives the game time to register that you're in SF now, and gives the game time to load up all the SF info (including making Katie available to date again). Then after a short while of not moving, I got a phone call from Katie.

And you can only kill Millie to get the keycard if you go on a date with her. So obviously you can't do this now since you have that glitch and she never shows up. So if you ever do get over this glitch and can date Millie again, just know that you can kill her so that you don't have to keep dating her.

sounds like a plan... the leaving-the-city part, not killing the girlfriend! i think i'm going to go on oyster-hunting missions (just got the prima guide back from my theiving brother), and see what happens. maybe if cj's "progress with millie" goes down far enough, she'll call.

Ok, I admit this is my first time here and my first time playing Grand Theft Auto, Vice City...I've got my character [me] running all over the city chasing that pink thing..
Anyway my question is how do i get into a car or on a motorcyle? Don't pick on me, i'm very new to gaming. I'd really appreciate an answer via E mail if possible..

right now i'm having HELLA trouble getting through the "house in the hills" mission. i can get to the part where i'm chasing big poppa through los santos, but i lose him because the car's handling is so squirrly. help!

hi can anyone help ive just compleated the high noon mission and saved game now nothing the phone is supposed to ring with rosie and my next mission but no, has anyone else come accross this if so did they sort it please let me know or am i starting all over again

have you completed the other las venturas missions? the caligula strand and the four dragons strand? i had done all of those, except for breaking the bank at caligula's (like i said, my girlfriend won't show up), so the only thing left for me to do was home in the hills.

rosi is the druggie in the casino we are supposed to rob i have done all exept rob the casino, after the high noon mission my guide says i get a call from rosie saying he is about to be bumped off and to go to his aid this leads into the robbery but im getting nothing <img src="/images/graemlins/computer.gif" alt="" />
