hi all. i gained 56 lbs with my son. i went from 150-206. after i had him i dropped down to 162. however, i cant get these damn extra lbs to go away. before it was so easy to do it. i was down to 135 and then i got sick then i got pregnat. anyway, ive been taking relacore on and off. and before i was able to eat once or twice a day, and id be ok. now im eating everything in front of me--again. i gained a few more lbs. i went from a size 11 to a size 13 or 15, depending on the brand. my question is-how much weight did you gain? were you able to drop down to where u were? if so, how long did it take? and if not, how did u find happiness looking in the mirror, cuz im not finding any. i dont regret my son, but i hate the extra weight! ive never weighed so mcuh before, and i dont feel attractive anymore. thanks.

My "baby"is 12 years old and I lost 50 of the 80 some pounds I gained. Then gained 23 of that back. I am back on track again, but didn't get that way until I quit making excuses for myself and started taking responsibility for what I eat and do for exercise.

My motivation? Not weight, health. I see very heavy people and they have very heavy kids (2 of my friends are in this catagory). Those "baby fat chubby cheeks" are only cute for so long, they are learning unhealthy lifestyle choices. I want to teach my kid better than I have learned. Now I eat better, lots of vegies and water.. and ever ... EEK.... quit smoking 8 days ago.

Sucks to be a grown up LOL

Attitude is a LOT. You don't need to be skinny to be pretty, attractive, etc. I am NOT skinny. My husband makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I have awesome friends. That sure helps me want to be healthy and hang out here for many more years.

I wish everybody had my built in support system, if you don't... go find it... I have a lot of support with my online buds too!

AM~
