Does anyone keep a snail in with their betta? I put a snail in with one of mine, and my betta doesn't seem to mind the snail. The guy at the pet store said to give the snail lettuce. Do you just put a lettuce leaf in the tank and the snail will find it? It's a gold snail - I think it was marked as a gold mystery snail. I do like to watch him navigating the sides of the tank.

Yeah, snails are cool, but I don't have any so I don't think I'll be much help to ya..lol..

I sometimes think I'd like to have a few, but then I read that they are sometimes a parasite carrier..and right now I'm dealing with nematodes in my rams...and a snail would have only made it worse to get rid of them....(they are a third party host to these nematodes...and are needed to complete their cycle)
