Terracotta Army. One of the things that's always impressed me about studying Emperor Qin Shi Huang, who among other things commissioned this army to be built, was how much he was both respected and loathed.
If folks saw the recent movie released here in the US,
Hero , this was the evil Emperor Jet Li's character fought against.
So what do people think, should we revere this man for all the things he's done and all the lasting impressions he's made in Chinese Culture? Or despise him for the thousands of people he was said to have killed simply to satisfy his near paranoid lifestyle.
