I noticed last week that Olive Garden has a section on their menu for low carb meals and you can request the new low carb pasta in place of the regular. <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Cool! Add a low-carb beer, and the evening sounds spectacular!

Do they happen to have low-carb desserts???

Sorry, Carolyn, their desserts are still just as deadly. However, that doesn't stop us !

Yes it is truly amazing how many restaurants are finally looking at the health of their visitors and offering nice choices. We go to the Outback and TGIF's and there are a ton of healthy items on those menus. We ask for veggies instead of potatoes/fries and they don't bat an eye, they say 'sure thing'.

You always have a choice when you eat out - just tell them what you want, and most times they will gladly make it for you.

Just save you dessert tummy spot for when you get home! There are a TON of low carb ice creams out there, plus I have a lot of recipes for them on my site too. I highly, highly recommend getting an ice cream maker and making your own, it is super fast, super cheap and quite tasty.
