im here! been working on a big project at work, its almost over (for now)...
i know it sounds mean, but sometimes you have to harden yourself against pet store abuses. if they are serious, you can report them, but for the most part they are just following procedure, no matter how wrong it seems. its sad, but the more that people buy fish from negligent pet stores, the better business they do.
i can try to reproduce your blinkies...but mysteriously my signature has dissappeared as well, even though it is right above the link. i see it in my profile, but not in posts. ive tried emailing the webmaster, but no one ever replies. i know they are probably busy, but its still a problem.
we might have to move the blinkies to under the avatar (since it seems there is no size limit anymore) by combining the two images into one animated gif. at least until they fix the problem! im not a fan of this new layout. its very buggy. things dont work right, it makes me want to fix it!
back to the topic, i would just try staying away from the fish section. thats what i do. i get the medicine/filters/food and get out, even at the good LPS. if im going to get a ferret, i cant have all sorts of delicious morsels for it lying around! lol
