Okay, I want to know what you all think to Dads being in the delivery room. Should they, or shouldn't they? There are those that say that the men put the baby in there they ought to see it come out, no matter how squeamish, and then there are others who say they would prefer NOT to have the dad there, but feel pressured to by society? Or do you think that it should be up to the father to make up his mind? Tell me what you think...

I think he should be in the delivery room if it is a good thing for both of them. I think it should be up to the parents, not society. My husband wanted to be there both times. It was a good experience. I also said if he was going to be there for the conception, he better be there for the birth. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I know I felt bad because I had family (mom and mother in law) that wanted to attend, but I was uncomfortable with it. So they waited outside.

I want the whole family with me. we are very close and are looking forward to it. My mom was with a friend and said she had the fastest, easiest delivery she ever saw. I'm hoping to beat 47 minutes in labor before the baby arrives
