If you're feeling low, are there any movies you watch to get you inspired again? I like movies like the Scarlet Pimpernel, where they have people fighting against the odds to help others <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I figure heck, if those people can go out and risk their lives, I can risk a few hours of time ...

My all time favorite movie is "Unconquered" with Gary Cooper and Paulette Goddard. Fighting against the odds, historical costume drama, and happy ending. I read and loved the book when I was a young teen, and then happened to find the movie so it was kind of magical when I first saw it.
Another favorite is "Practical Magic". Another case of reading the book first. I love the house, and the fact that it's okay to be a little different
All right, everyone, let's hear a little more about favorite inspirational movies.
Thanks, Lisa, for starting this.

It's silly... but 'Flashdance' always seems to inspire me. Maybe it's the music.

I love "City of Angels"... the way it shows angels being around us all the time...reading over our shoulders and asking what we liked best when we die... It just makes me feel good....I love Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage anyway
