We've all been to parties where you just can't believe "so and so" is behaving like that.

Parties are meant to be a time to have fun, but if you not careful, you may end up being the only one having fun while everyone else is wishing they hadn't come.

So, what piece of party etiquette would you remind that obnoxious party-goer to remember before they hit the scene?

I would remind myself and others that if someone you don't get along with is there don't sit by them and don't try to get into "it" with them at the party. it will only create drama and ruin eveyrone elses good time.

For me there are two important rules to remember. As a guest, I believe the most important rule is that you speak to the host or hostess as soon as you can, but without appearing hurried. As a host or hostess, it is one's responsibility to make sure they greet your guests shortly after they arrive. I have been to many such occasions where this is not done and I find it to be in bad taste.
