HAHA YEAH RIGHT!

Tony Stewart knows EXACTLY what happened when he neared the back-end of Kasey Kahne's car! They've had a small rivalry for a while now, and I find it quite hard to believe that he didnt do it on purpose...anyone else agree/disagree?

I also agreed w/ Kahne's crew chief when he told the media that Tony has gotten away with only being fined and that he should've sat out a race or two. The incident with Brian Vickers would've been enough for me to sit his [censored] on the side!..

..and on that note, I'm quite humored by the fact that Kahne's crew chief confronted Stewart's crew chief regarding the on-track accident..stating that he was "only going to tell Zippy that his driver was a moron" and "I dont know what happened after that"..leaving one man bloody and bruised and on his way to see a medic! I can honestly say I was shocked and expected that kind of behavior moreso from Tony's crew than anyone else's..a VERY VERY entertaining race, nonetheless!

Btw, did you notice that Cingular customers were given a poll regarding when NASCAR should initiate the "all races finish on green" rule? 66% in favor of doing it now, while 27% prefer for it to kick-in next season..I agree with the latter. No sense in changing rules in the middle of the season, ya know?! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I only became interested in the races last year (although my kids have been talking about them for ages). I watched a lot of them last year. But for some reason I cannot seem to get interested this year. I know they made a lot of changes and I guess I didn't have a good foundation last year and this year I'm thoroughly confused.

First...WELCOME Angie!! Now on to Tony..LOL. I honestly don't believe he hit Kasey on purpose. This is a situation where for some reason Kasey slowed and finds it easier to place the blame elsewhere. Tony had one of if not the best cars out there and I don't think he would risk taking himself out as well. Now...if it had just been Tony and Kasey with no other traffic around...hmmmmm..who knows?

You're probably right!! It is ALWAYS easier to blame Tony Stewart than take blame!! LOL..It just always seems fishy that Tony Stewart is almost always involved w/ an on-track mishap with Kasey Kahne. If I remember correctly, they had the same kind of situation a few races back, too..

Angie, yes Welcome!! I'm just as confused as you are, considering I've only gotten into it less than a year ago, so I'm still learning, too! But it's oh so fun and exciting and often dramatic!!
