For the most part, I think the nominations were worthy. I was surprised by Alan Alda getting a supporting actor nod when he hadn't received any other award recognition for the role.

I'm also really disappointed that Paul Giamatti wasn't nominated for best actor, but I've noticed the Academy seems to favor dramatic roles over comedic.
