Tonight the Golden Globes will be awarded.
(see article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art27794.asp )

Looking at the list, who do you think will win -- or who do you think should win, but didn't get nominated?

Let me know what you think. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Here's to hoping Jamie Foxx wins for Ray. I saw him on Inside the Actor's Studio and realized that if he doesn't get one of the three golden globes that something is very very wrong.

But here are my choices for the Motion Picture winners:

Picture - Drama
Should be Hotel Rwanda but will probably be Million Dollar Baby because of all the hype

Picture - Musical Or Comedy
Should be Ray but will probably be Sideways

Actor In A Leading Role - Drama
Should be Don Cheadle [Hotel Rwanda] but could very well be Johnny Depp [Finding Neverland]

Actor In A Leading Role - Musical Or Comedy
Should be Jamie Foxx [Ray] but there is a lot of talk about Paul Giamatti [Sideways] and Kevin Spacey [Beyond the Sea]

Actress In A Leading Role - Drama
Hilary Swank [Million Dollar Baby]

Actress In A Leading Role - Musical Or Comedy
Hopefully it will be Emmy Rossum [The Phantom Of the Opera]

Actor In A Supporting Role
Thomas Haden Church [Sideways] is a great choice but I am hoping it is Jamie Foxx [Collateral] if he doesnt win Actor in a Lead Role or Morgan Freeman [Million Dollar Baby] if Jamie Foxx does. Although it would be great to see Jamie Foxx win all three he is nominated for considering hes finally stopped doing junk movies.

Actress In A Supporting Role
Either Virginia Madsen [Sideways] or Natalie Portman [Closer]

Clint Eastwood [Million Dollar Baby] will probably get it but I am hoping that Alexander Payne of Sideways gets it.

Sideways [Written by Alexander Payne, Jim Taylor] should win but Closer seems to be getting acclaim also.

Original Score
I would laugh so hard if Spanglish [Written by Hans Zimmer] won.

Original Song
"Learn To Be Lonely" [The Phantom Of the Opera] will probably win but I dont have a choice.

Foreign Film
House Of Flying Daggers [The People's Republic Of China] was beautiful but I think The Motorcycle Diaries [Brazil] or A Very Long Engagement [France] will win.
