I tried this weekend while my family was eating Bisquick's pancakes I made myself the Atkins pancake mix with butter and the Atkins Syrup and the mix was awful - I thought it had such a bland taste that it wasn't enjoyable for me at all. I would rather stick to the eggs every morning for breakfast than the mix again - needless to say I have no interest in making the mix again!

I felt the same way when I tried the muffins. I tried both chocolate chip and banana nut and they both had an over powering bran flavor. I guess it was a bran flavor. It kind tasted like edible wood. I'll stick with my breakfast bars. :-)

My philosophy on life: Work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like nobody's watching.

I'm really a fan of eating fresh, healthy foods. There's really no need to go with any of the mixes or powders or anything else. Our grandparents didn't need all those things If we just ate fresh eggs and veggies, and fish and such, we'd be fine. So I'm actually happy that the high-priced commercial foods aren't always great.

I do have to admit that the low sugar ice creams are REALLY good and that's a nice treat in the summertime heat
