When I started this 6 weeks ago I was in size 28 jeans. Two weeks ago I was in 24's and I thought I might be able to get into 22's. I made the mistake of getting boot cut 22's which I didn't know actually run smaller than normal cut.

They didn't fit so for the last two weeks I've been making these damned jeans my goal. I got them on last night and went out! :-D It was awesome.

That's so wonderful!! My boyfriend went through the same thing for several months, he has gone from 300 pounds last June to about 220 pounds right now. It's such a wonderful feeling

I highly recommend starting some exercise, like bike riding, to get your legs to compact into their new shape. Also I highly recommend getting some of the skin-firming lotion and using it daily. It really does make a difference in helping the skin 'tighten up' to its new shape. Also be sure to take your vitamins - especially E!! As much as lotions CLAIM to give you vitamins from the outside, the only sure way for your skin cells to absorb vitamins is from the inside, from your blood system.

Keep up the good work!!

Oh, believe me, I take multi vitamins every day. I use my rowing machine about 3 or 4 times a week. I will have to look into the firming lotion...I'll need it.

:-D Thanks!

Wow, you are really on top of things! No wonder why you are losing weight so readily and staying so healthy Good for you, you are really an inspiration to other low carbers! I'd love to add you to our success stories list sometime if you'd like to write up how you've done so far

Great job Donica! That's wonderful.
I have been "kinda" low carbin' it for a few months. I've messed up a few times but gotten right back on track. I lost an initial 20 lbs or so- but the great thing is, I don't seem to ever GAIN any weight anymore. Used to go up and down so much it drove me crazy. I think I am going to get serious about the low carb lifestyle and see if I can't shake these final 20 lbs or so!

At my heaviest I was 245lbs. That was when I was 16 in high school. Believe that? 16 and 245lbs.

Now I'm 160, and I owe it all to low carb and ephedra diet products eek

Ephedra gets banned tomorrow. Pssh... like four ppl die and all of the sudden the stuff is a higher priority for the bush administration than osama bin laden. It's not like they're doing anything to ban smoking. What a sham. I have my stockpile, anyway I'll ween myself off it over the next 6 months. I need some kinda patch or gum

I think ephedra was a nice boost for some people but I really think long term health has to rely on healthy eating, not artificial metabolism changers. There are just so many things we don't know about how artifically altering our body's processes can cause harm. If you reach a weight you're happy with, you need to find a way to maintain that on a normal, day to day level through healthy eating and exercise.
