If you're on a low carb diet, be sure to look into chicken wings!! I admit that I used to dislike them because they were a pain to eat. But actually the eating them one by one is GREAT because you eat slowly, you appreciate each piece and you are able to stop when you're full!

It's pretty easy. Get a new deep fryer that is easy to clean up and use - here's the one we use -

the old problems with deep frying was with BAD oil. If you use olive oil it is really healthy for you!

To give some variety, you can sprinkle a cajun or jerk spice on it when it's done and it'll add a delicious flavor to it.

Hooters makes a low carb buffalo sauce too, just fry the wings, roll in the sauce, and then cook in the oven for about 10 or 15 minutes. It's quick and easy and VERY tasty. It's not just "burning hot" - it's a tasty flavor.

Baking is a great idea, if you have an oven. I do know some people who don't have an oven in say a tiny apartment. Remember, you don't have to deep fry in "bad oil" with trans fats. There are many types of oils out there, I talk about them all on the site. Enjoy!

See I would never have guessed chicken wings were low carb and lately I have craved wings and steamed broccoli.

Have a blessed day-

With chicken wings, I have found the great thing is - even in restaurants that are typically "dangerous" to Low-Carbers, most usually do some form of chicken wings.
Even if they are fried - if you are in a major food-jam and have no other Carb-Friendly choices, you can order plain wings with buffalo sauce on the side or Texas Pete or Tabasco...very low carbs and you'll stay on your program!

Yup exactly! Chicken is good for you, and that is really all chicken wings are. It's basic protein - and lean protein at that <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
