If anyone has experienced something they would like to share on the board. We are now up and running.

Anything from sleep paralysis, "interesting" dreams and 2:00-3:00 am noises in the dark to meditaions, guides,spirits and messages from beyond...the tele that is.

I had a strange experience! I was moving cinder blocks and all of a sudden the voice in my head started insisting "put on your gloves". It reminded me of when Frodo told the other hobbits "get off the road", when the ringwraith was coming. I ignored the voice for about ten minutes, then stopped in my tracks and walked to my car, saying out loud "okay, okay, I am getting them". I put them on and continued moving cinder blocks. Later, as I took my gloves off, I wondered "what was the deal with the gloves?" Nothing had happened. The next a.m. I returned to the cinderblocks and put my gloves on. Shortly after, a cinderblock smashed my fingertip, blowing out the tip. 4 stitches. They said if I had not had my gloves on I may have lost my finger tip. I have never had my voice yell at me, that I can remember. Glad it was insistent. Glad I listened and remembered that next morning. This incident is linked to the snake dream I posted on the dream forum. That happened 11/16/04. My finger is fine, with a jagged scar. Those four stitches cost 700.00. A lost fingertip probably costs more!

I enjoy the "voice." I don't have a physical explanation for this but I know what you're talking about.

I had an experience where I was worried beyond belief over my pregnancy. Reason being, my brother is disabled. My parents left him in my care some years ago. I was burned out basically from taking care of him. He was always getting in trouble with the police and such.

Anyway, I was resting upstairs and closed my eyes. A loud voice jolted me awake ~ my heart was pounding it was that loud, but it was internal. When I sat up it say the genitalia (sp) has turned to be a female.

I had gone to the doctor maybe a month later to see if the gender could be identified. They said, "No." They tried for 20 min. A few days later, that same voice said, "The genitalia has turned out to be a girl."

I had a daughter as it turned. She is six. She answers questions before they are even out of my mouth. There are many coincedences involving this experience..down to the time predicted she would be born in a separate dream before she was conceived. We weren't planning a child......Maybe the voice will give teenage advice as well??????

I will share another odd experience. I was alone, turned out the lights and lit three candles, in three different places. (I do not use lights at night unless I have to). Two of the candle flames were not moving, the one in the middle was going berserk. It seemed like it was trying to get my attention. I "thought" questions to this flame, and it would either be still or start bouncing around. I silently asked it if there was a situation with my children, it bounced. I inquired about my children, the first two got a still flame. The third child's name produced a bouncing, frantic flame. I called all three kids and said "please be very careful tonight". I did not elaborate. I went to bed. At 10:30 the phone rang; it was the police asking me to come home (I was at condo) because my youngest had a party that got way out of hand. She was fine but my house was trashed. The candles did this again a couple of weeks later, something did happen, and I have stopped lighting candles! I know nothing about this odd stuff that happens to me, I just pray a LOT. And that helps. I have a sister that has weird things happen, also.

My point, Eleise, is yes I think your voice will be there for you when your darling becomes a teen. Or, you can always light a candle and see what happens. Twenty + years ago my friend was pregnant. I had a quick vision one day, she was standing holding a baby, the scene was grayish but that blanket was light blue. I told my friend she was going to have a boy because of the blue blanket. She had a boy. This happened a couple more times, with other friends, and then no more. I do not seek this stuff out, it comes out of nowhere and takes me by surprise. I feel it has something to do with being in tune with nature and letting my inner child be alive and well. Its like, the kids are grown, and not requiring all my attention anymore, and I have no excuse to ignore these things that happen.

It is funny, but predicting pregnancy and the gender has been a specialty of mine! ha ha ha
It all began with my own daughter when I was just 16. I predicted a girl, oh I know, every mother 'knows' the sex of theirr child. But, a little while late within a yr, a friend at school was pregnant. I put my hand on her belly and told her what she would have. She did. And this continued thru the mid 90's. I even had a dream that one of the girls at work was pregnant with a girl. She did not believe me. Amonth later, she did believe me. She was pregnant. I lost touch with her and do not know the sex of her child. But, I can be sure that she had a girl.
Since my children are now in their 20's and I am barely 40, I am not around young women of child bearing years any longer, so I do not know if I still have this gift.

I've had many "Odd experiences" in my life. I'm the mother of five, the first of which read my mind from the age 2 until around 13. When I say read my mind, I mean with extreme detail. The first time it happened he was two and it was christmas. He was still at the age of taking naps everyday, but with the special day and all the activity he had skipped his usual snooze time. Late in the afternoon, I was watching him play with a young relative about 20 feet away from me when I thought about this skipped nap. In my head, (and too myself) I thought "I wonder if your tired". My son didn't even look up but said, "Nope mom, are you?", since this was the first time this happened I innocently asked, "am I what?". to which he replied "Tired, I'm not but are you?". Once I picked him up from daycare and was driving home. We had the radio up fairly loud and I was thinking about what I was going to do for dinner. I had laid out some hamburger meat to make spaghetti but pizza sure sounded easier and faster, but on the otherhand I didn't want to waste the hamburger meat or the unbudgeted money on a pizza... anyway I was having this inner debate with myself when my then three yr old turned the radio down and said "mom, I think you should go with the spaghetti." I asked do you know what I'm thinking. He answered "sure, your trying to deceide weather to have spaghetti or pizza, and I want spaghetti." I asked "How do you know this?" and he answered "Because I can see a plate of spaghetti and a piece of pizza in my head and I know your trying to deceide which one... I want the spaghetti!". This continue on an almost daily basis until he was around 13, when it stopped almost as quickly as it started. He's now 21 and doesn't even remember doing it. I now have twin sons who are 5 and they both do it, but not as much as he did, but sometimes more dramatic. When they were two, only one of them was doing it, but it was so sudle, I wasn't sure if it was for real or not. One night I deceided to test it. They were suppose to be in bed. I had told them they could have their tv on, but to stay in thier beds. I quietly sneaked up the dark stairs, crawing when I got to the top so to not be heard or seen. I peeked into their room and they were both out of bed. One, (the one NOT in my mind at the time) was in his own little world dancing around the room and his brother. the other one, (who I was testing that night) was sitting about a foot in front of the tv, mesmeried by whatever was on. In my mind I thought "KAVEN!", (the one not being tested). Nothing happened. So, I then thought in my mind "KAIN!". I was at more than a 45 degree angle to where they were in the room. Even with the lights on and me standing there it would have been hard for them to have seen me, but the way it was It was impossible. Anyway when I thought the second one's name in my head he immediatly turned his head and looked me directly into my eyes, (even though he couldn't see my eyes, I was laying on the floor in a completly dark staircase landing and said "What mom". The hair stood up on the back of my neck and I said, "Nevermind" and went downstairs. I figuered he passed my test!

I love this experience.

I have been pre-occupied these several months. I apologize for not replying sooner, but I have to say this is a prime example of what is naturally capable.

My daughter would react much in the same manner by yelling down to me from upstairs, "Did you call me?"

I had, I just had not verbally stated it. Umong other things, dinners, having to take medicines, having to come in from outdoors, these children really do hear an inner voice.

The other morning I woke up very early . I started hearing a dial tone in my left ear. A few seconds later the phone rang and it was my job telling me I did not need to work that morning. This has never happened. My sister and I joke about sounds we hear occasionally, a high whining noise that will last just 2-3 seconds, in either ear. We have joked about receiving transmissions or having something downloaded. The dial tone was new to me. I am interested in heightening my awareness and using it to help others. Can anyone tell me about this ?
