Instead of concentrating on the grand summon, just go in with all of your aeons overdrives charged up. Bring in, do overdrive, get banished, rinse, lather, repeat. You may want to haste Yuna, as this will give her more attacks. This should kill him. If not, I think he is susceptible to poison, so use bio, and just pound away. It shouldn't take much.

you could concentrate on uses your physical and magic attacks instead of relying on the power of the aeons. Charge up your characters overdrives and use them.

I love that game and i can say that why don't you do both(it may take a while, but it's worth it) I never needed aeons to win much battles(except the final battle against the aeons). Try both, and you won't fail...

If you stil havent beaten Seymour yet try teaching Yuna the "Reflect" technique. cast reflect on EVERYONE including seymour. Whenever he casts a spell on on of your party mem. itll reflect off of them and hit seymour or the mortibody.
And when the mortibody tries to cast cura on seymour, ittll reflect and cure one of your party members.

I used reflect and it worked great for a lot of Seymour's very magical & elemental battles. If you cast reflect on your party though, remember to cast it on SEYMOUR first (if you casted reflect n him) that way it will bounce off of him onto you. BUT you CANNOT use magic on him unless you use dispel to take off the reflect, because if you case magic on him (whether it's a cure or firaga, etc.) it will go right back to you. Reflect also works great because the mortibody drains hp from seymour. the more oyu hurt the mortibody the more hp it will take from seymour while you are attacking him at the same time. so much fun! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Actually, if everyone is reflected, you can cast magic on Seymour. Just cast the magic on a party member and it will bounce off of them and onto Seymour. magic can only be reflected once, so it will hurt Seymour.
