seeing thoe gamecube doesnt come into it which one out off xbox and ps2 do u think is the best?

I think the Xbox is better when it comes to hardware, but PS2 has a lot more better games so I'd go for that although
soon Fable 'll be released on Xbox... and that is just heaven

oeh xbox dont have the best of games but its one hell of a console! I like how let's say, if u play gtavicecity in xbox... it's a whole lot better than if u play it on ps2.. just my opinion... and u dont need a memory card for xbox...so that rox, but ps2 has lotsa a games that rulz...i wont even compare it with xbox, which only has a couple of good games even tho soon fable is comming out... and so is halo 2! So ppl are gunna buy them like crazy... i went to a games store and i got in line to get fable but theres like 1000 ppl in front of me <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

true @ the fact that games look better on the Xbox...
But I'd rather play any fast game especially beat em ups on PS2 because the Xbox controller... it's just insane... you can't properly play a fighting game with it, at least in my opinion

UR soooo right... the xbox controller is like...imense... well at least the first ones <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> so i bought a smaller one oh and dude the buttons.. r soo weird on that controller, so i hav to agree with u on that

I think X-Box should have blown ps2 out of the water considering it outclasses the ps2 on every hardware aspect. When i first heard about X-box it looked promising but it delivers little to nothing (which is typical for Microsoft) because the games are [censored] and the controller sucks compared to the ps2 uber easy-to-use controller.

btw does anyone know why those kewl controllers nintendo used to have with semi/auto fire modes, programmable moves etc. aren't being used for consoles anymore? Those things owned for fighting games.(especially killer instinct)
