My favorite games are RTS and MMORPG. I started playing Asheron's Call back in beta and it took me 4 years to shake that addiction. But I then moved on to A Tale in the Desert, Asheron's Call 2, Shadowbane beta (blech), Fallen Age beta (never went gold), and now Horizons. I wish Artifact didn't have to file Chapter 11, but I can only hope it's for the best and that Horizons won't truly go under.

I love the Age of Empires series and play that with my fiance quite a bit. My first strategy game on the PC was turn-based - Civilization, anyone?

I also play the other genres - I play anything. But those two are my favorite.

And I prefer PC games at the moment to console games, though I did grow up on the different consoles.

Yeah the SAGE engine has been greatly improved i hear. I'm really looking forward to any total conversions of that game, with the dynamic campaign and the new unit emotions there are many possibilities to make any world come to life more than in any current RTS games.
