Hi gamers!
I know that there are lots of heavy metal tracks on games, and I'm sure there are a few fans out there!
What are your favorite Metal Bands? What bands are frequently on games, that you've noticed?
Thanks for your input...I'm on the prowl for fresh material for the Heavy Metal Channel!

mine is definately Metallica. ive heard groups like the cult rob zombie,and motly crue, and vice city has a kickn soundtrack with alot of great songs on it
there are two types of people in this world, cat people and dog people. the cat people are very sly and not at all trustworthy. the dog people are ver kind and affectionate, and loyal. I am a fish person, which means I AM NOT FROM THIS PLANET

Thanx! Does the game come with information about the bands/soundtracks? Is that how you'd find out who's singing what? (As you can see, I'm not a huge gamer...unless you include PSOne and PC games like You Don't Know Jack, Jeopardy, Tetris, Running Wild, Clue, Board Games, etc.!) <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hmmm....my favorite Metal band. Dunno about the music in games tho. I got more than a few: Slayer, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Arch Enemy, Bathory, Bolt Thrower, Chimaira, Death, Children Of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Mob Rules, Iced Earth, Fear Factory, Grave Digger. I can go on for a while, but you get the idea <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

im not sure of all the groups, but if u searched hard enough under GTA vice city ot under Gran Turismo soundtracks, u could probably find a list of songs, (some metal, but many are more in the classic rock genre)

mhm..well the stuf Paul mentioned i like (coz he sends me it constantly <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> ) but i also like a lot more wide ranging alternative n metal. Over the past few weeks i reeeeally got in2 Metallica in a big way n other stuf like Kill II This, 12 Stones, Disturbed, Anthrax, System Of A Down, Lost Prophets, Machine Head, Fear Factory, RedHotChiliPeppers, Godsmack, Beastie Boys (only mid stuf), Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Faith No More, Korn, Offspring, Incubus, Turin Brakes, Madonna and loads of other stuf i not got <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
