Janet,

I was so sorry to hear about your terrible back pain, and so glad to log on this AM and find this update from you. Tell your husband a big thanks from all the ladies online, as you've got a treasure in him for sure.

I don't know if you've ever read Louise L. Hay's "little blue book" called HEAL YOUR BODY, but if you haven't, I think you'll really like it. It's helped me with a few health situations where the diagnosis is a bit unsure, or where the problem hangs on stubbornly. She talks about the mental and emotional patterns that tie into the various dis-eases that happen in our lives. Very interesting stuff.

Blessings,
Rae

Thanks, Gillian.

Hi Rae!

I've actually reviewed that book for the New Age site. I was researching the vertebrae part early on before the severe pain hit (the newest edition has info on all the vertebraes), but have yet to look up "kidney stone" or "sprains". That was on my list though. ^5

I just wanted to get through the pain first! I had wondered if it had to do with Leo stuff (my South Node is in 6th House Leo, exacerbated by the Leo Full Moon?--worry about money issues?), but really...mental masturbation (something I'm a pro at) can sometimes cause me more grief than clarity. (That book has helped me, too...good stuff in there.)

Thanks for your kind words, sweetie, and I'll be sure to pass on the message to Ron. He's an amazing man, truly.

Wow, Janet... sounds like it got way worse. I'm so sorry to hear of the difficulties you've endured. Although, I can relate, I've been there. With all the things I offered as possible solutions, perhaps that's the reason it didn't work, you were having more than one thing "going on". I kind of feel a bit foolish, that it didn't help. (can't get the embarassed smiley to work here. :`()

Your husband is a "one-in-a-million", lol... you are so very blessed, and I'm so glad he's there for you. All the times I've had to go through that kind of pain... I had to do it all on my own steam, so I fully understand what you're saying about lying down and then getting back up again without support.

I will light candles again for you, and send healing energies your way. Take care of yourself, and don't give up entirely on your writing, I feel there's a reason for everything. Who knows, when you get through this, you may find an even better way to communicate your creative words.

love,

'llysa

Thank you so much, Iris, 'lyssa, Susan, Carolynn, Jessica, Eva, and Chris. I appreciate your prayers and well wishes!

I am so grateful for Ron and his love. He left for work about an hour ago, and I'm feeling a LOT better! I got a stand up bath last night (which he helped with...hummuna hummuna), and it feels great! I wanted so badly to get in the tub when I felt the hot water around my feet, but we finally agreed that was NOT a good idea...

I'm still sleeping in a recliner, and walk a little crooked for now. I'm much more erect now, and don't have any pain. Thank God!!! The strongest thing I take is ibuprofen, and even that is intermittent.

I need to be careful not to overdo it because I tend to be a "full speed ahead" type of person.

'lyssa, I truly believe everything happens for a reason...even though it may not be evident anytime soon...or even in this lifetime.

Eva, you know, I'm a realist more than anything. I used to be a real "positive thinking" nut, especially as a former "name it and claim it" Charismatic/Pentecostal minister. But you know, when my first husband contracted leukemia...and I saw how much he suffered despite the gazillion prayers going up for him, an amazing will and purpose to live, AND positive thinking/talking...I had to let go of that paradigm. I definitely believe optimism is powerful and helpful, but I also think that sometimes life is a crapshoot and isn't MEANT to be easy. From my reading and research, it appears that the Universe and Guides consider Earth a boot camp...a very, very difficult place to incarnate to...and all for soul lessons. (My husband swears he is NOT, under any circumstances, coming back to Earth next time! LOL)

Me...I can just see myself conspiring with my Guides on the Other Side for yet another difficulty journey to maximize my lessons. *groan*

Blessings to you all, and thanks again!
