Hi, Everyone!

I just had an amazing experience I wanted to share. Over the last months, I've been really unhappy with my job....It's been difficult to stop the peaceful, positively energized times I have in the morning to go to work (I'll leave the details out, but let's just say it's not really been pleasant to work there for awhile).

Anyway, I've been studying the Law of Attraction, and meeting with a group of women a couple times a month. We've been encouraging each other to really put our desires...our "wants" out there for the Divine and the Universe to orchestrate and place in our lives. For weeks now I've been saying "I really really really want to do something I love, something I have a passion for, that will bring healing to others, enable me to work from home and make my own hours, and make more money than I'm making now." I've been 'vibbing' to little sound bites in my head like "I'm a magnet for good things, positives things, healing and God things." "I completely surrender myself to the Divine will and destiny! I hold nothing back."

Weeeellll, guess what? I was just laid off! LOL While it did come as a 'shock', I've been sensing intuitively that things were going to change, and that I needed to make sure that all my ducks were in a row. I feel like the Universe just took me by the hand and said, "OK! Come on, girlfriend, let's get this party started!"

Whew...You know, I'm excited! I really feel like something powerful and significant just happened (I mean literally just happened, about 2 hours ago!) Now that the initial pain to my ego is gone (my position was eliminated due to budgetary cuts), and as I hold any fears re: finances at bay, I feel so free! I guess I wanted to just throw this out there because it's my way of saying "YES! Let the games begin!" <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'm not sure what tomorrow holds, but I DO know that I am attracting into my life all the things that I'm longing for!

Janey, how wonderful! :music: The Universe seems to meet our energetic requests...although not how we expect most times! It's great that you see the layoff as an opportunity...a window to better things. I'm reminded of the Death card in Tarot: all things must come to an end, but every end is a beginning!

I hope you continue to share your experiences with the Law of Attraction and how you're attracting your intent into your life. It's a very powerful principle!

:rolling: Thanks, Mermaid! You know, I haven't a clue what I'll be doing! LOL I know what my marketable skills are, but this time around I want to do what I LOVE doing...what brings me joy! Funny enough I've already had three different girlfriends present me with opportunties. I'll be meeting each of them as the week goes on. But I'm really trying to stay in an 'inward' mode, and not get all stressed and pushed to 'find something'.

I have the strangest feeling that "something" is going to find me!! LOL <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> so for now? I'm enjoying the time, really nesting and balancing my feminine energy (Which, just coincidentally, is something else I've been seeking to do! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )

Wanted to update on the latest amazing synchronicities happening! I have three (yes, three) appointments today with girlfriends who have sales opportunities for me! One owns her own successful catering/event planning business. I called her yesterday and she said, "You've been on my mind!" I've always had a passion for event planning, so we're meeting to talk about her opening! The other is a home based jewelry business (Cookie Lee) and the other is outside sales for a supply company. I'm not sure if any of these will be a good fit, but it seems the Universe is 'hinting' at sales! (I've been in administrative/office manager positions since the dawn of time! LOL But I don't feel the slightest urge to look for employment there). And just this morning, a friend of mine (a college professor with degrees from Stanford and Harvard) sent me an email and said "Write the BOOK!" and offered to edit my writing gratis!!! OMG, I'm so excited! Could this be 'it'??? Working flexible sales type stuff to make money and still have the free time I need to write??? <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Since 5th grade when my favorite teacher told me "One day I'll see your book on the rack", I've always known this was part of my path. Wow...seems things are being arranged for me so that I can live the life I love and do the things I love!!??? <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> whew...maybe so.......

Can I ask how it feels to be getting what you want? Is it scary? This is something I'm working on with my career change and I think on some level I feel like I don't really deserve it, and that's holding me back, you know? Heather

After all the things that happened yesterday, I'm still a bit overwhelmed. My friend with the catering biz was just the week before praying for a miracle. For years and years event planning has been something I loved, but from the other end of the perspective. As a Corporate Exec. Assistant I was always needing catering or parties or meetings. Well, as it turns out, that is exactly the type of business my friend wants to infiltrate! I can make my own hours, work from home, and earn money as an independent contractor getting her business! It really is a match made in heaven, and while I've never done exactly this sort of sales before, I believe in her and her work tremendously, I understand the needs of the target group, and I love meeting new people! (I've been told I'd make a good sales person too! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> . Then, come to find out that the friend I was meeting for dinner to talk about an opportunity with her company? She knows my friend from the catering biz from years and years ago! We ALL came away from the situation just in awe at the synchronicity, and definitely feeling like there's something of DESTINY involved!

I'd be totally lying if I said I didn't have just a wee bit of nervousness about doing something completely different and unknown! The feelings of 'not deserving' it? I understand that! For me, I believe that's the voice of some self sabotaging (in my 10th house of highest potential) and some victim (in the 8th house of other people's resources). It's taking me some time to really believe that the Universe and God are there supporting me and cheering me on, that doing what I love to do is EXACTLY what I was CREATED to do! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Reinventing myself is exciting, scary, joyful, nerve racking and basically WILD feeling! But hey! All we have is today, so why not go for it??

Wow, how wonderful Janey! That's awesome that you're seeing the pattern of Saboteur and Victim! Have you considered casting a Guidance Chart for this specific job offer to see where your apprehensions may lie? It may give you additional insight into your birth chart.

Congrats on getting into the flow and please keep sharng your synchronicities, insights, and experiences!
