Hi Elena,

In the Newsletter I sent out yesterday, as well as on Kati's thread, I mentioned that I was temporarily suspending the monthly AstroTarot Forecast. So no, there won't be a forecast for October.

It started to become a chore/energy drain on me, so I wanted to give it a break for now.

Hi all,

I've just posted the Holiday AstroTarot Forecast for 2004:

Forecast

With Mercury retro most of December, as well as lots of sextiles on the horizon, it looks like the holidays will be...interesting.

I agree Janet, For years now - since the rest of us kids have grown up and are old enough to fend for our selves really - my mom has been buying 'toys for tots' Which, if you dont know, is an organization that takes in donations of unwrapped toys and distributes them amongst needy children. Personally, I've been on a crochet kick since this summer and am using up all my scraps of yarn to make funky scarves that I plan to give them away. I'm up to 6 at the moment. I get bout one done a night.

You're welcome, mtnmermaid.

Welcome to the New Age Forum, Mary! Bless your heart. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and share your enthusiasm for the AstroTarot Forecast! I have to ask: are you affiliated with the Victory Farm that helps homeless veterans? (I'm quite nosy...apologies if I'm getting too personal!)

Hi Wendy,

Toys for Tots is a wonderful program! Funky scarves sounds like a neat gift to me. Project Angel Tree from the Salvation Army is another wonderful holiday program. Paper angel ornaments are hung on a tree, and the child's sizes are listed and such. You take the angel, buy the gift/s, and then drop it off.

No, Janet, that's one Victory Farm I hadn't heard about yet! Sounds wonderful, though. We have been working with a local Adult Day Health Center to send emails and cards to service members overseas, but that's just as volunteers and through eMailOurMilitary.com. Total pacifist that I am, I still think it's important to let our military personnel know that we are thinking of them and wishing them well.

People are always asking if we're affiliated with the PBS show - of course they mean Victory Garden! :-)

My user name - and business name - came from the combination of living in an old beat-up farmhouse when I started my business (no longer, thankfully!) and our greyhounds at the time - Vic and Tory (I kid you not!).

I am a sometimes lurker/seldom poster on another forum (Tarot), where you had written that you were starting the AstroTarot Forecasts, and asked for feedback way back when. I've really enjoyed them, and my husband, who is less "into" all this than I am, was absolutely blown away by the fact that you hit him right on the money every month.

When I told him that you were doing it again, his reply was that he was so glad, because he had "missed it so much!"

He is a Pisces - I'm a Sag - and it looks like I'd better make sure he has a notebook with him at all times this month! :-)

Thank you again!
Mary

How wonderful for you to remember those in the military, Mary. I totally agree: no matter what the views on war, it's important to support our service men and women as much as possible.

Too funny about Victory Garden...and the dogs! Greyhounds are so beautiful.

Thank you for letting me know how much your husband enjoys the Forecasts! I appreciate the feedback. To tell you the truth, I get blown away when people tell me just how much the Forecasts peg them! LOL

Yes, your husband would definitely benefit from jotting down insights that he gets. What may appear to be "no big deal" may actually be an important clue on his journey!
