Happy New Year! I've just posted 3 articles dealing with the subject of Numerology and Color. As many of us think about what we want to let go of and what we would like to welcome and make a sacred space for in 2004, Numerology can helps us focus on certain themes. By doing so, we can cooperate with our Personal Numbers and their vibrations, and work with life and the Flow, as opposed to working against it. Numerology - Calculating Your Personal Year, Month, and Day Discover your own Personal Numbers for the Year, Month and Day--and get into the Flow! Numerology - Numbers and Colors at a Glance In numerolgy, numbers and colors have specific vibrations and purposes. We can choose to work with our personal numbers, and thus enhance our lives. Colors and Numbers: Your Personal Guide to Positive Vibrations in Daily Life by Louise Hay Louise Hay has written a fascinating book that details the importance of numbers and colors and how their vibrations can influence your life. What has been your experiences with numerology and color? Any specific numbers and colors that you have an affinity for? What do you think they mean for you, personally? Blessings,

Does this have anything to do with calculating Kua number in Feng Shui? Also, 1) what is the significance of personal number that doesn't vary with the month? 2) now that I know the color, should I wear that color during the month of January? I know that in Feng Shui in addition to colors you're *supposed* to wear, there are colors you're *not* supposed to wear, does that hold for western numerology as well?

Me and my SO have an affinity for numbers 333 and 23.
They are truly weird because they unite us in a way.
333 is my favorite number repeated my favorite number of times (and I have used 333 extensively to identify myself), and yet he has been waking up in the middle of the night at 3:33am, for ages, before he met me.
23 is his favorite number, and that's the way they express my birthday 2/3 in New Zealand, where he has lived all his life before he met me.

I'm not aware of Kua in Feng Shui. Is that the same thing as Ba-Gua? I've only read one book on Feng Shui and I don't recall anything about numbers related to Ba-Gua...just positions, colors, and decorations. According to the Colors and Numbers by Louise Hay, you can wear and eat colors corresponding to your Personal Year, Month, or day. You can eat foods of that color, or accessorize with a scarf, a pen, gems, or other small item. Or, you could decorate your workspace or home with specific colors. According to Hay, all colors are good: All colors are good, and we feel more comfortable with certain colors at certain times. Our day-to-day living can be enhanced by surrounding ourselves with the colors that are most harmonious with our own personal vibrations for that day. It is the study of numbers that reveals our daily, monthly, and yearly vibrations. When we choose the color that is associated with those particular vibrations and pay attention to what that number is telling us, we are more in tune with Life...
We each have our own personal number vibrations and personal color vibrations. Some of these numbers, like are birthdate, our permanent. We also have temporary personal colors that change with the calendar. By consciously surrounding ourselves with our personal colors, we become more in tune with cosmic forces. Wow, that's amazing about you and your SO, Ice! Very interesting. My brother and I both love the number 32. (He's 4 years younger than me.) It was even one of his jersey numbers when he played football. I'm not sure the significance, but we love it.

That's so fascinating, most people I know have single digits as their favorite numbers. It never even occurred to me to choose multiple numbers
Mine was always 3. Apparently my sister also liked 3 but because I was the older one I "claimed" it and told her to choose another number, and she chose 4. Of course maybe she only wanted 3 because I had it
I also like 9 because that is 3 x 3 - that was my number in volleyball.

Wow, that's interesting, Lisa...that most people you know have a single digit as a favorite number. As far back as I can remember, as kids, I've loved 32...and unbeknownst to me, so did my brother!
I asked my husband if he had a favorite number, and he said "9". Gee, I never knew he had a favorite number!
I've always had an affinity for the number 7, too, and 777. Interestingly, my Enneagram Type is 7...and my husband's is 9.

LOL @ your husband having 9 as fave how appropriate I'm not aware of Kua in Feng Shui. Is that the same thing as Ba-Gua? Bagua are areas, and Kua is a personal number, you know, add date of birth all together, etc. And each number has an element.

Yeah, isn't that wild?
I've not heard of Kua, then. I've only read one Feng Shui book, which I reviewed for the New Age Channel, but it doesn't mention anything about Kua. It sounds interesting, though! Do you have any websites you can point me to that speaks about it?
