Hi Vannie!

I go through phases. I'll go 7-10 months with no TV (yes, NO TV) but then sign up for cable. Cable has gotten so outrageous in price that we decided to try satellite last year. I love it! My son loves PBS Kids, Noggin, Nickelodeon, etc. and my husband and I really enjoy HGTV, the Discovery Channel, TLC, Food Network, A&E, etc. HGTV has some awesome shows! (Designer's Challenge, Landscaper's Challenge, and Designing For The Sexes are 3 of my faves and are reality channels of sorts.)

I just signed up for local channels earlier (we usually have no need for them!) but we really want to catch the Forsyte Saga Part 2 on PBS. Maybe I'll have to catch an episode of the shows you all are mentioning...if I can stomach it. LOL <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Ah yes, as sad as it is to admit...I get hooked on these reality shows. America's Next Top Model is my #1. Shoot, I even found myself watching that horrid, "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance"!! Eek, I think I need help!!

I say 'eek' too. I think I saw him his shorts? He really was acting obnoxious. What have we done to ourselves?

Janet the shows we watch are pretty tame and fun. The model who wins will get to work with big modeling agencies for a year and the remaining apprentice will get the chance to work with the 'Trumpster'. That's real good for regular folks with big dreams.

I will be watching the Forsythe Saga in Feb. I caught the re-runs last month. I was surprised by rawness of the characters but I am drawn to the series. So I will be watching part two also.

I hate most reality shows but this time I actually found myself liking survior all stars my favorite guy who I really admired is already gone though <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> so if the only other guy I like goes i am done with it lol

Well, Amorosa is still there. I think she is going to be the next leader.

Is that the man in his 70's you are talking about? It's so funny I have never seen a Survivor except for 5 or 10 mins. here and there. But Friday morning the old guy was being interviewed (I can't believe the show hs been on for 3 years). He said he has slowed down after three years and admitted that the group? don't know what they are called was right in voting him off. I saw some clips - he must have been liked. People were really sad <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Anyone here watch Airline on A&E? Love it! I've lost interest in American Chopper and Monster Garage, but still love Monster House on Discovery.
