I'm not a reality TV person, and I'm not a fashionista, but I love this show.

I love this show also!! It's so much fun. I loved that Austin ended up modeling for Jay last night. So funny!

I just caught this show this weekend for the first time. Wow, Austin just put on the clothes and modelled. How funny. I do think Wendy's clothes are quite frumpy.
At New York's Fashion week the top ones showed their clothing. There was one piece I really really liked.

I am amazed at some of the things Michael Kors says. The whole thing about women cutting the pockets out of their clothes is an example. What?! I work with women who never have enough pockets.

Yea I really wasn't pleased with what Michael Kors had to say. I don't know anyone that cuts pockets out of their pants. Seems a little odd that he says "women" meaning there are more than 500 of us running around like that.

I'm amazed at the way Wendy Pepper was dumped on for her personal looks. Hello! Pat Field from Sex and the City is no model look alike.

So...what does everybody think about the winner?? I loved both Kara Saun's and Jay's lines. Wendy Pepper's...dowdy as usual. Oh, and if anyone's interested, here's Austin's website: www.austinscarlett.comLove him!

I'm fine with either Jay or Kara Saun winning. Jay had a "younger" line while Kara Saun had glamourous clothing that I would love to wear to a special event. I hate that they penalized her about the shoes and also because she was in Los Angeles and Jay is in a small town. Jay has TV! He can go look for inspiration from outside sources. He isn't in a bubble.

I had never been a big fan of Jay's until I saw the runway show. Wow! I want that coat! The skirt with the circles was great too. Many pieces can be worn by many types of women.
Kara's was to same-same. The same cut outs on almost every dress.
Wendy had some good pieces. I liked the fusha cocktail party dress and the one Melissa wore (not like I could ever wear it).
I rewatched the finale show yesterday. I don't think the shoes would have been as big a deal if Kara Saun had not waxed on and on to Tim about how she designed the shoes and boots to perfectly match her outfits. If she designed them and had them made, then they were part of the $8,000.
I was also struck again about Jay's comment to Tim about wishing he had a friend to help him do all his work. 'Cause rubber cement was not all the Dollhouse guy was working with that day. He was sewing!
