We have decided on Abbey as a 1st name, but still deciding on middle name.
Our last name is McDoanld.
The list we have narrowed it down to:

Abbey.....McDonald

Beth
Sarah
Trinity
Natalia
Mia
Samantha
Maia
Rachel

What do you think?

I like Abbey Beth McDonald because the syllables are balanced. However, Abbey and Beth both have the "B" sound.

I think the second name should have one syllable. When you do decide on about three names for the second name, keep saying the names together for a while. That's when you can really discover if the names go well together.

I like Abbey Rachel or better yet Abbey Raquel (rhymes with Michelle...which also sounds good....Abbey Michelle).
