Hi everyone, my name is Kristen. My husband (Matt) and I are expecting our third baby in April. We are pretty sure it's a girl, so we are focusing on girl names right now. I love so many names, but I've managed to cut it down to two, possibly 3 names. They are:
Kiara (key are ah) ~ not set on a mn, suggestions are very welcomed. One that I was considering is Ainsley.
Lonna/Lanna (rhymes w/ Donna) Ashley
Ainsley ~ My dh likes this one more than me, that's why if I don't use it as a fn, I'm considering it as a mn. If we do decide to use it as a fn, I have no idea what mn to pair it w/ so suggestions would be great.
I have one dd named Hollis Victoria and one son named Jensen Terrell.
I am interested in knowing what name you like best or think goes best with my other children's names and I would love mn suggestions.
Thanks so much, Kristen

Hi Kristen. My favourite of the names you asked about is Kiara. It's so pretty. I don't like the name Ainsley at all -- but that is just my personal opinion. If your dh wants to use that name, I'm sure your baby girl will lend her personality (a good one) to that name.
For a mn, do you like any one syllable ones? They would go well with Kiara.
Let me know what you think, ok?

I actually really like the name Ainsley... of the names you listed it fits the best with your other kids' names (which are very cute btw!). Ainsley sounds very Celtic, is it? hmm, well I just looked it up at Babynames.com and it says it is English (I was close ). I am a big fan of cultural/ethnic names so I try to pick names that ethnically go with each other. (Hollis is also English and Jensen is Scandinavian and Kiara is Celtic). So keeping with the cultures you have and Ainsley as a fn, here are some things that I like: Ainsley Kiara (celtic-or Kiora-also celtic) Ainsley Suzanne (english) Ainsley Scarlett (or Scarlett Ainsley- english) Ainsley Kiandra (english) Ainsley Faylinn (english- LOVE that mn. Will also be one of my girls' mn's) Ainsley Brittania (english) Ainsley Taryn (celtic) Ainsley Siobhan ("Sho-van" celtic) Ainsley Sabrina (celtic) Ainsley Noreen (celtic) Ainsley Maureen (celtic) Ainsley Kirra (celtic) Ainsley Kellyn (celtic) Ainsley Hazel (celtic) Ainsley Fiona (celtic) Ainsley Deirdra (celtic) Ainsley Brianne (celtic) Ainsley Sonja (scandinavian) Ainsley Freya (scandinavian) Ainsley Cybelle (scandinavian) Ainsley Erica (scandinavian) Ainsley Elsa (scandinavian)
I know I went a little overboard lol, but I hope that helps. If you still decide to have Ainsley as a middle name, you now have a whole bunch of options for a fn, lol (whether thats a good thing or not!)

1. I think people would have trouble pronouncing Kiara...is it kee-AIR-uh, kee-AHR-uh, KEE-uh-ruh, etc. Kiara/Ciara is originally a Celtic name, pronounced "KEE-uh-ruh" so that might confuse some people.
2. If you go with Lonna/Lanna I'd suggest the former or people will think it's pronounced like Lana.

Hi,
A lot of Gaelic names have meanings that you should check out:
Saoirse means freedom(seersha) Aishling means dreams (ashling) Bronagh means sadness (bronah) Deirdre means sorrow (Deerdra) Sinead means princess (shinade) Alannah means little one (alana) Cailin means girl (call een)
Hope these help

Kiara Nichole? How about Launa (not LauRa...) similiar to LANA/LONNA
(different spelling...)
I'm partial to Sophia (Lauren)...not Sophie...but with a 1/2 Italian Background, its only natural!
