My husband are trying to have a baby (over a year now of trying - cross your fingers). We already have a girl name picked out but we're having a hard time thinking of a boys fn. The mn will be Andrew, after my father who passed away when I was 16. Also our ln is Lambert.

What do you think of these and any suggestions are very welcome.

Leo
Nolan
Maddox
Brady
Rowan
Gabriel (Gabe)
Mason
Gavin

Please be honest and again, suggestions would also be great!!

I think Andrew Nolan Lambert sounds the best. Rolls right off the tongue.

Same here... hang in there and keep trying!

BTW, what was your pick for a girl?

Leo Andrew Lambert (my favorite as a whole, but possibly too many "l"s without Andrew)
Nolan Andrew Lambert (the "an"s in NolAN ANdrew don't work, also without the Andrew, there are too many "l" sounds)
Maddox Andrew Lambert (works, nice with two or three names)
Brady Andrew Lambert (like, nice with two or three names)
Rowan Andrew Lambert (the same "an" problem, but Rowan Lambert is nice)
Gabriel Andrew Lambert (fine with all three names, but the double "l" is difficult to say without the Andrew)
Mason Andrew Lambert (the same problem, but fine just Mason Lambert)
Gavin Andrew Lambert (the same problem, but fine just Gavin Lambert)

Some sound nice with all three names, but not with just two names (how he will most likely be referred to normally, right?) and others have the opposite problem. I think Brady is the best name with the middle and last name.

Definitely like Andrew Nolan Lambert. Sounds perfect. Now if I could only find a name for my son ... LOL

Leo if a boy and Piper if a girl???
Sounds quite Charmed - that tv programme.
Don't recommend it if you have twins (girl and boy).

I like Nolan, but Andrew Nolan Lambert and not Nolan Andrew Lambert. Easier to say.

Also like Andrew Noah.
Anyways good luck.

Wishing you much luck on conceiving. From your list I really like Gavin and Rowan. Leo is cute but I'm not crazy about it with your last name.

Good luck,
Kristen

Gabriel Andrew Lambert is my personal fave (I'm very partial to the name Gabriel - I wanted to name my son that, but lost that battle with my husband.) Gabe Lambert sounds like a good "sports name" - it chants well.

I also liked Mason & Gavin, and another name that sounds (phonetically) well with the middle and last names is Steven or Steve.

Good luck!
