Mine was last year flying into Phoenix, they were so backed up they had us unboard down the planes steps.
Why was that bad? My wheelchair was waiting for me at the bottom. It took me 10 minutes to get down the steps. On the return flight we refused to even try. They got a ramp and let me walk up that, then they boarded everybody else. We learned one thing ask first, then refuse until they do it right!
