Rachael Rae's show "30 Minute Meals" is really good and so is the food she fixes...I record them sometimes and make the meal. She is very watchable.

I just love cooking new foods, my guy wonders about me sometimes. He's a Iowa boy, give him meat and potatoes and hes happy.

Keep posting

Has Rachael Rae of the Food Network been in movies? I believe that I have seen her, but I can't find any info anywhere.

I have watched their show where they compete to be the next food network host. Actually I watched the first few weeks and then forgot what night it was on. It was one of the better shows I have seen that is a competition.

I just love Rachel Rae! She is so cute and sweet! (and her recipes are good, too) I just know she would get along great with my brother who's a chef, if I could just figure out a way to hook them up......

Heck no! Spices, spices, spices! You can take the same cut of meat and idaho potato and change it every day just by changing the way you cut it, spice it up, cook it (bake, grill, stew, etc.).

But the spices are the big thing; simplpe grilled steak w/ white potatoes gratin- peeled & sliced yukon gold potatoes, shredded white cheddar cheese, chopped chives, baby portabella mushrooms (chopped & sauteed w/ garlic, shallots & butter) / spray pan with PAM, layer potatoes, then mushroom mixture, then cheese, then chives, repeat layering till you use everything, pour small contatiner of cream over the entire dish, cover bake 1 hr for 45 min.

oriental steak; marinate steak in teriyaki sauce for 1 hr, stir fry potatoes w/ mushrooms & green beans (just make sure you give the potatoes a head start!)

Just get creative and point out to hubby he's GOT his meat and potatoes, so what's he complaining about.
