I am an 18 year old girl, with my whole life to live, who is engaged and is going to go to university next year to learn to write for children. I am so scared about this war that is so obviously gona happen! i've seen enough war films and heard enough stories from grandparents to know that it is the biggeat horror story you could ever tell! I always thought the idea of alien invasion was scary but thats nothing compared to the concept of war!The scariest thing is to know that there are people, and always will be people, like Saddam who are so sick in the head that they want to kill people!

--------------------------------- The scariest thing is to know that there are people, and always will be people, like Saddam who are so sick in the head that they want to kill people! ---------------------------------- No, the scacriest thing is letting a madman run the most powerful country in the world. This guy is much sicker than Saddam, he dosnt even have a cause to fight for. Other than wanting oil, wanting to make the American public feel safe about the terroism problem they created and to gain votes. None of which are good reasons. Another scary thought is knowing my suposed prime minister dosnt have any ethics and is more concerned with been the american forign minister rather than leading a nation (of which 84% are against a war on iraq without a fresh mandate, and another 9% didnt know/care)

You can bet the reason is NOT to rid Iraq of a dictatorial leader. If it were, there are many countries who could stand a little cleaning up. Nope, it's the Holy Dollar and Power that's running this world.
Years ago a movie came out entitled "What if They Gave a War and Nobody Came?". I never actually saw it but I like the idea. It appears to me that the majority of "Joe Civilian" around the world does not want to go to war, especially one that is not honourable. I wonder what would happen if everyone refused to co-operate? Would they fill the jails with objectors and demonstrators until the places were overflowing (moreso than they already are?) What would happen, I wonder, if everyone united against the Big Bosses and refused to fight?
This so-called war (aka slaughter, genocide...) would be another Viet Nam. Even the attack on Afghanistan proved nothing and solved nothing. This is merely a quick fix for the American failing economy, a dumping ground for out-dated weapons and a testing ground for newly developed ones.
I have yet to meet one person in favour of this action and I have no idea where Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair are getting their support from.

You have ellected Bush yourself, may I remind you ... (though he hardly got his 50.1%, I still see it mysterious) ... Bush is not very bright, America's economy is not doing very well, the prices on oil are too high ... the best way to solve all this? - Small, fast and victorious war ... against whom? - Well, a country that has plenty of oil and is considered to be number one bad place - Iraq ...
You know why the WWII started? Because Germany's economy was in such position that it was the only possible sollution. USA is not in this position to that degree, but something similar is happening.
Anyways ... I'm happy there is no oil nor other resources in Spain ... because you know ... there are Morocco and Vasks problems ... "someone" could also "help out" by intervening ...
