Yesterday I was hit with some shocking news. I have glaucoma. I know that glaucoma can be controlled but my eyes are quite blurry even with my glasses on. My eyes have been bothering me for awhile but I thought it was fen-phen related. I took the diet drug and it caused major health problems with me. Of course I am superwoman and I think I can handle anything.

I am worried about my career as a hairdresser and the financial part of it.

Lynne I know that you are a hairdresser. I am fine with coloring, permings, and haircuts. I can tell I really have to look hard when it comes to fades. I love clipper cuts. I guess it's a good thing guys are starting to wear there hair longer.

So will all of you say a prayer for me I really need it.

What kind of glaucoma do you have? What did the doctor say could be done about it?

There are treatments and medicines that can help. Don't give up! and don't worry about work and finances...there is help out there for you when you need it!
