Lynne, you are indeed blessed if you've had sunshine. We've had clouds, winds and rain in Maryland but compared to so many other places, we are pretty blessed too.

Natural death vs. suicide...what happens to the spirit in the afterlife...a controversial, compelling storyline in Robin Williams movie, "What dreams may come". Has anyone seen it ? It is pretty thought provoking!

We've had leftovers, too, until today. It is a beautiful Fall day, finally!

I've always loved the east coast and Florida, but recently Midwest living seems really nice.

I'm glad your weather is clearing up.

Once we have finished with the hurricanes on the east coast, the midwest has to start dealing with ice.

I have family in Ok. and Tx. and ice is bad, so I'm glad that they are having some nice weather now.

Yikes! eek
It's not nice to remind me of what's coming!

I prefer to enjoy this great weather and to ignore the future

hi,
on that site, jesussecret.org, it says "... theologians argue that Jesus died on Friday evening yet he rose or came back to life early Sunday morning. For, it is mathematically impossible to get three days from Friday evening to early Sunday morning--it's impossible."

It isn't impossible. Friday is the first day, Saturday is the second, Sunday is the third. Three days. Jesus rose on the third day.

As for the metaphor of seeds and plants, there are MANY metaphors in the Bible. (Jesus is the true vine, He's the lamb that was slain, etc.) I think the ability to see metaphors is a gift from God and it's something we should use often. But that doesn't mean everything in the Bible is merely a metaphor.

Ask Jesus to help you see, not only mathematically and metaphorically, but also through His eyes.
:-)

Thank you Charlise.

There are so many things that I took exception with that I quit looking.

I'm glad you brought them up.
