ok..not sure if i'll get a reply for this...but i'll ask anyway <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

i need to get a strong and powerful bike in the next year or so-what do u guys think the biggest bike is that i can go up to and control safely?
i just want ur opinions-i am getting xpert advise at sum point (blagh) but i wanna know NOW!! hehe!
i have driven/tried to drive all kinds of bikes but not controlled the larger ones very well, i can't put ma feet on the ground with huge dirtbikes and i HATE little mopeds/chicken chaser bikes <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

If you can't control the larger bikes don't get one. I suggest you buy a small used(cheap) street bike until you feel confident in your abilities. You are at more risk on a motorcycle than in any other vehicle. People around do not give room to motorcycles because they don't think about thier vulnerabilities and it will be necessary to make quick movements with your bike to miss an accident. Don't buy anything larger than a 650cc bike and as small as you are you may want a smaller bike to start. Once you gain confidence you can handle a much larger bike. You need experience first. Also with a used bike you won't feel bad when you dent it up. Wear a helmet and leathers at least until your skills on the bike are competent. Learn how to work on your bike too. Carry a small tool kit with you. Other than that I say " Go sister biker go"

ok cool-thanku for ur advise <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> i don't think any1 would sell me a bike thats over 650cc anyway considerin ma size <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> i gonna start as high as i can go (which is as high as i can control coz i 21 and restrictions in England don't apply to me) but i think ma limit 4 the mo is 500cc max <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

If you get something you can't control to begin it could be disasterous.

We learned on a Honda CB650 and that was good as far as being big enough to take on the highway but small enough to handle easily.
