My favorite anime would have to be Sailor Moon. Why? Well, its the first anime i've ever watched since i was about 5 years old, living in Japan, which had the great influence of getting me hooked on anime. Well, i haven't seen all of the series, i still the last season to go(5 seasons total). Which i doubt i'll ever see. The thing that i love about Sailor Moon is the girl fighting, the storyline, the love and romance. My favorite anime character is Sailor Saturn. (thats what my user name stands for) I like Saturn because i just love her character story and the way she is.

I have many favorite animes, this is my number one favorite.
Top 5
1. Sailor Moon
2. Dragon Ball/ Z/ GT
3. Tenkuu no Escaflowne
4. Record of Lodoss Wars
5. Inu Yasha
i can go on forever naming my favorite animes. ^.^

Do you speak Japanese then? I've heard that Sailor Moon was REALLY badly dubbed into English and that half the time they completely changed the meaning of what was said. They also censored a lot of the more 'adult meanings' in the original show. Have you seen both versions (Japanese/English) to know if that's true?

I learned japanese when i lived in japan, but i was young and after when my family moved, i kinda forgot how to speak japanese and only remember the basics. I am currently taking japanese classes at high school. I'm in year 2 so far. I have the movies in japanese and translated very well by a japanese lady and unedited. I also have seen some episodes in japanese, but of course i didn't understand fully what they were saying. I just use my commen sense, which is my best way of understanding something and it works. Unfortunately, i have seen the dubbed Sailor Moon episodes and its aweful. I know that Sailor Moon was edited, almost every anime aired in the U.S is edited.

I'm trying to find a way to get all the Sailor Moon/R/S/SS/Sailor Stars series in japanese, imported from japan.

I love the DBZ anime, it's just cool the way they disappear and then again appear behind the other <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I kinda like DBZ but it pisses me off that all they do is sit aroun and talk, not enough action. Also with the fight with the Freeza They said the planet would blow up in 15 min but i took like 5 or 6 episodes for the dang planet to explode. after that i kinda got bord with DBZ but i still watch ocasionally.

i think the dbz eps are starting to [censored] off a lot of ppl.
hi sorry for th rudeness.

i think Neon Genesis Evangelion is the best. It started my path of analising the human thought patterns. Shinji is such a cluts when it comes to women.

My favorite is Fushigi Yugi... guess I'm a sucker for romance ;-) Other favorites include Golden Boy, Airbats, Marmalade Boy, and Angelic Layer. One that I have been enjoying but haven't seen many episodes of yet is Strawberry Eggs.
