Oooo good job Kitty! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Caleb Johnson's company made soap from palm oil and olive oil in 1898. The soap was called Palmolive and became so incredibly popular that they renamed the company in 1916.

William Hesketh Lever is credited with being the first person to imprint a brand name on a bar of soap and wrap it before sale, in 1885, with the now famous Sunlight soap.
