I wonder if most adults do that, choose candy that they love!
Not my parents. They always got the big bags of Smarties, dum-dums and bubble gum, when I know for a fact that my mother's weakness is Hershey's kisses. I haven't yet lived in a place where there are a lot of treaters, but when I do, it will be peanut butter cups for sure.
I'm actually going to be in NYC for Halloween this year, at a rehearsal dinner. Ya think the bride and groom to be would be mad if I showed up in costume? <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I'm sure there will be plenty of time afterwards to see how NYC celebrates Halloween.
I was in Paris for Halloween once, and that was really a trip. I guess Parisians don't really celebrate it, but the teenagers there think that dressing up is a cool and American thing to do. It was fun; sometimes it just doesn't occur to me that other countries don't always celebrate the same holidays.
