When I questioned the ritual of cruises, Barbie deleted my entry. This is censorship. Let's get into a debate about cruises - HEY! Let's go there!

Barbie is not exercising censorship. You can speak all you want but NO ONE has to listen to you. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

This is a site about people looking for information that will help them on their cruise. Not to listen to your rude messages about cruises. If you do not like cruising for whatever your reasons are thats fine. Dont post to a message board negatives that are for one not truthful you insulted the travelers called them names and for those that may enjoy cruising would find very offensive your messages. I emailed you personally to ask you to not post negative remarks on the cruises forum site as this is not the place for insults and harrasement of future travelers. Unless you have something postive to add I still dont see the point of your message to this forum.

Barbie: you DELETED my message wondering about the VALUES of cruises. That is censorship. There is nothing 'rude' about my question and it remains: why take to the seas in a floating shopping mall????!!! I never called anyone 'names' as you allude, nor did I harrass anyone. I merely questioned the ultimate validity and morality of cruises in general. That there is even a forum about 'cruises' is REVOLTING in this age of war, destruction and alienation. I urge you to get offline with this disgusting indulgence.

Barbie,

I see you have a situation similar to one I have over on the body art board. Delete as you see fit..... Personally, I find not much value in someone running around screaming "I hate this" while trying to get everyone else's attention and participation.

On the topic of cruises, I have just booked myself onto my very first one! I will cruising the Aegean Isles the first week of September on a Clipper ship. This is a present to myself for my 38th birthday, which is the day before the trip starts. There is a mythology/history theme to the trip, and I'm hoping to get some great material for the Pagan channel here out of it.

I have on tattoo on my right ankle I got when i was 18 as a present and its the only one I have ever gotten it kind of hurt alot.
But my boyfriend wants me to get another one so I will have to think about that for a while lol..

thanks for posting on my forum and dont forget to share your vacation with us.

as for the annoying person on the forum all I can say with this day and age of war dont you have something better to do than this. Why not take your time and effort you so much put into these forums to do something truly constructive for society.

I'll be cruising the first week of September, from the 3rd to the 10th. It also looks like a friend of mine who I know from the pagan scene here in the Bay Area is also going to go, and we'll be roommates on the ship.

Most of the time on the ship, we'll be under full sail, which should be interesting to watch and experience.

BTW, ankles are one of the most painful spots to be tattooed, due to the low instance of muscle and body fact and high amount of bone and nerves.

LOL Rae thanks for explaining that to me 15 years later. After I passed out the first time while getting my ankle tattoo then the artist decided to explain it to me instead of before. But what can you do at that point other than stick it out and pull your hair lol.. I love my tattoo Im glad I got it. Have fun on your cruise and please give us your review when you come back.

I am going on a barefoot windjammer cruise to Tahiti. Shall I take k-y jelly or just vaseline for a lubricant? I hear the weather is very humid there. How about a hat? Shall it be a straw one or just a baseball cap? Is it windy?
I want to look very trendy. I thought I would get a pareo to wear everyday...but is that too informal? Maybe I should have a formal gown? And how about the food? I hear they serve 8 meals a day! (I can use it - am very skinny!) But is the food native food like poi, or is it American? Should I bring a down quilt for the bed? Thanks. <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
