Jessica,

I wouldn't say it's "normal" to be tired when you're pregnant. However, it is normal to need more rest. So, that's your first step.

Tiredness most always comes from a need for certain cellular nutrients. This need becomes more apparent when you're pregnant.

The following excerpt is from a letter I received from Sylvia and is typical of the results that I've seen on a good simple cellular nutritional program:

"Even though I was young, eating well and taking vitamins and minerals with my first prgnancy, I was tired all the time. I was Forty years old with my forth and last child, but because I was on the program you recommended, I had great energy. It was my easiest pregnancy and birth, I had the fastest recovery time and Brice (my last) has the strongest immune system of all my children."

If this is something you want to pursue, email me at nutrition@bellaonline.com and I'll point you in the right direction for your particular needs.

Jessica I REALLY struggled with a lack of energy and just plain pure exhaustion in my last pregnancy. It was mostly during the middle trimester too.

Walking across the room absolutely wore me out. It got to the point where breathing felt like a chore on some days. My Dr. redid a test for Anemia and found that my iron levels were a bit low. (I think it was like 24 or 26, don't quote me, it's been 3 years the 1st)

An iron pill was added and I changed my diet a little and I started feeling better. I also started doing some low impact walking.

I would say that if you're really feeling that worn out you should check with your Dr. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
