Win $50 in assorted books. Something for every taste! <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

The contest winner will email me his/her address and the prize will be shipped out via USPS within 14 days of the end of the contest. The postage will be paid by the Library Sciences host. Please don't post your address in the forum.

Rules:

The first one to answer ten trivia questions correctly will win the books. This contest is open to anyone living in the US, with the exception of RI, NY, and FL. Unfortunately, if you live in Rhode Island, New York, or Florida you are not eligible to win since this contest is not registered in those states. Do not edit your posts--edited posts will not be accepted.

Here's the first question:

What color were the shoes Dorothy received in the book The Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum?

Next question....What book opens with this line & include the author:

Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show..

Don't forget it's the first to 10, so the "ball is still in play."

Next piece of trivia:

This autobiography was a bestseller in 1949. The New York Times refused to include it on its bestseller list because of its religious nature. Please give the title and author.
