I worked with and know Goldberg and the short answer is no, he isn't that good at all. In fact, he is a terrible wrestler. His persona, push, and gimmick were how he made it big. He doesn't have the passion for wrestling that "real" wrestlers do and I doubt he will ever be a wrestling star again. He certainly made a splash and was in the right place at the right time and had the perfect persona. But as far as being GOOD in the ring. Nooo.
Brock, however, is fantastic in the ring and has an innate ability that many big men don't. He, too, lacks passion. He may regain that passion though and, if he does, he could easily be on top anywhere he chooses.
Goldberg is more into Hollywood and TV/movies etc. now. He is still seen as a star in Japan though as they like the big monster type personas over there.
Lesnar is trying to fight WWE for a ton of money because he failed at football (as expected) and he signed a 10 year no compete clause saying he would never wrestle anywhere for 10 years after leaving WWE. Obviously he wants that lifted now that he doesn't have football. He did make an appearance in Japan and was very much over there.
I believe Lesnar will be back in WWE eventually unless he really does something to burn a lot of bridges. He could be a viable and valuable part of the roster (as much as I don't personally respect him now).
Goldberg is essentially a memory in wrestling, known for his catch phrase and winning streak. He was a great guy to work with back in the early days and we had a lot of fun and I respected him but he got cocky and arrogant when he became successful and now, I don't have much respect for him and his attitude.
