A tradition that we have started in our family is reading the Christmas story from Luke 2 before opening presents. Now that Brooke is a good reader she enjoys being the one that reads the story from the Bible. This is a tradition that the whole family enjoys and it reminds us all of the real reason that we celebrate Christmas and give gifts.
