Digital scrapbooking is now hot and exciting! However, everywhere you look new places are offering great prices. They don't say up front that you can only journal on the front page and that you can only put your photos in and that the store will place them, in the order you gave them in, in the digital book. The store does not watch to see if all three photos that you were hoping to be grouped together have landed on the same pages or not!

Creative Memories has a FREE downloadable program to use with many FREE extra templetes to add to your program abilities. They also offer tutorials online to help you through the process.

And if you prefer to print at home. You can buy the Storybook PLUS program and receive the ablility to change the layouts of the way the photos go on the pages and you can add or delete the amount of photos to accomidate whatever your layout needs are.

Then as a GREAT bonus you also can PRINT out your pages. However, 12 x 12 pages you would need a larger than household normal size to do so. But printing 11 x 8 1/2 and 8 x 8 and custom made sizes are easy to print and come out GREAT!!

(I have given these prints as gifts in frames. The compliments have been wonderfully fulfilling!!!)

You can write me for more info on this if you wish.

Lifebook is a new online scrapbook that you can create for your child. It's one of the most interactive online scrapbooks I have ever seen and has audio and video capabilties. Plus it has really cute themes to apply to your pages just like a real scrapbook! It even has digital stickers which I thought were adorable.

I like the idea of a digital scrapbook because its an easy way to keep family and friends updated on what is going on in your children's lives. AND you can set it to private so it isn't accessible to just anyone.

When I first heard about digital scrapbooking, it peaked my interest, but honestly...EVERYTHING is becoming digital and online that I feel that some things should be left to the original way. Like scrapbooking. I think scrapbooking is so much better when it's a physical book, rather than online. What if you're not by a computer or something? It's nice to have it physically in front of you...but what's just my opinion :-)

With digital scrapbooking you still make a physical scrapbook, the pages are printed and placed into a traditional scrapbook. The only difference is the pages are computer generated. You can also have your pages created in a hardbound book.
