I will fess up right now, I am not a computer genius but I'm not totally helpless. Here is my question, I have a website that I use front page to create and I thought alls I had to do was add pages but I guess not. How do I create sub webs ? Apparently I can't just open up front page, create a new page , save my pictures in another file. I don't understand this stuff. Do I save each page in a different place or what ? I'm confused.

each page is a different HTML document. Images are entities separate from HTML pages, and you don't actually include an *image* into your HTML code, but a *reference* to it. Therefore an image needs to only be saved once, but you can point to it with <img> tags from different HTML pages.
What exactly do you mean by "sub webs"?

I was having trouble adding more pictures to my website so I called my isp and they told me that I need to create sub webs (whatever that means) to sort of break up all the pages that I have on there because front page can only handle so many images and files in a web. Like you mentioned I do save the page as html file and the picture in another file. I did a search and found some info on it, says that I create another sort of web by naming it mydomain.com/subwebname and save it? I will go and try that but I just thought I could just keep adding to front page, guess it's time for me to go get a book

subwebs? maybe they were talking about more html pages.
I've never used front page and by the sounds of what I have heard I would rather stick with DreamWeaver

Oh, I got it! They are talking about subdomains. Yep, there is a size limit on a single subdomain, so you have to create a new subdomain and upload pictures into those subdomains rather than the top level domain. For example, my domain is [url=BellaOnline ALERT: For anti-spam reasons, we restrict the number of URLs allowed in a given post. You have exceeded our maximum number of URLs.

Were you able to solve your problem?
