Hi all,

Have any of you worked with the Liber T deck? June?

I received it a week or so ago, and I am so taken with this deck! I'm not sure if I'll be able to read with it, but I could not take my eyes off of some of the pictures. It took me a good while to work my way through the deck...the images were that engrossing.

Here's some images for those unfamiliar: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/liber-stars-eternal/

Thoughts? Experiences? Do you find the more "complicated" the images the hard it is to read...or the reverse?

Hi Janet,

This is the first time I have seen some of the cards from this deck. The Star card is very much like Crowley's Star. Very lovely images,...I can see why you were mesmerized.

Thanks for sharing,...

You're welcome. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It's loosely based on the Thoth deck, but unlike Crowley's deck, the Minors are fully illustrated. It's kinda eerie, actually, but there's something about it that is just so mesmerizing...

Too bad it doesn't come with a very good guidebook...only a very skimpy LWB in several languages. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Janet -

Do you have Duquette's book Understanding the Thoth Tarot or The Tarot Handbook by Angeles Arrien? You could probably use either of these, since the deck is very similar to the Thoth deck. I have both and they're wonderful, especially The Tarot Handbook.

Hi Shannon,

No, I don't have either of those books. Thanks for the information! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
