One thing I admire about Therapeutic Touch is that it is so accessible for people. As you know, it came out of and is very associated with the nursing community. It illustrates that energy healing doesn't have to be associated with anything too 'mystical' for some people.
And it seems pretty easy to learn (if you take the time), so it's a good self care technique as well. And that's what I like about Reflexology. Reflexology has a real history of self care. And that's empowering for people. That's also what I hope my writing will be, empowering for people. Maybe that's what you do, June, in your tarot and other teaching (it sounds like it's what you do in your readings as well, from what I've read of you... great materials by the way).
And like I said, my wife does Reiki. I think she is more sensitive to energy than I am. I feel it sometimes, but I think I'm a little slow to feel it. I think my path is more in line with a balance of the more 'tactile' therapies with energy work. That's where Reflexology and Shiatsu come in, they're both energy modalities, but they are very touch/pressure oriented. Anyway, enough of my rant... like I said, interesting stuff.
Oh, and I'm interested in that book, I think it's called 'Tarot and the Healing Heart' (it's on June's Amazon book list). I had it out of the library before, but I think I need to learn more about tarot basics first. I'd be interested in anyone's experience of it.
Oh, and beautiful websites, June. I haven't had a chance to check them out thoroughly, but the artwork is stunning. Have you ever created your own tarot deck? I'd love to see that. Be well.
